Why keep a dog and bark yourself?  Consider getting your “bark” from The Cartoon Studio. I’ve been drawing cartoons for over three and a half decades(36 years!) – more if you include time spent in school and scribbling on desks and walls! Phew, am I ever glad I never got caught.
With all this experience behind my work, I could motivate a lion to go vegan! And don’t worry about my schedule; I’m lightning fast with writing wit, and creating illustrations that will inspire on the spot.

My Comfort Zone – A Poem Author Unknown

I used to have a comfort zone where I knew I wouldn’t fail.
The same four walls and busywork were really more like jail.
I longed so much to do the things I’d never done before,
But stayed inside my comfort zone and paced the same old floor.
I said it didn’t matter that I wasn’t doing much.
I said I didn’t care for things like commission checks and such.
I claimed to be so busy with the things inside the zone,
But deep inside I longed for something special of my own.
I couldn’t let my life go by just watching others win.
I held my breath; I stepped outside and let the change begin.
I took a step and with new strength I’d never felt before,
I kissed my comfort zone goodbye and closed and locked the door.
If you’re in a comfort zone, afraid to venture out,
Remember that all winners were at one time filled with doubt.
A step or two and words of praise can make your dreams come true.
Reach for your future with a smile; success is there for you!

Office health and safety cartoon poster – a must have!

Office health and safety cartoon poster – the perfect addition to any workspace.

office health and safety cartoon, hazard hunter cartoon with guy carrying too much down a set of stairs, wet floor sign hidden under stair case, cleaner has left pools of water while mopping, guy not looking where he is going about to trip over filing cabinet drawer, overloaded socket, cleaner with frayed wires on vacuum, incorrect lighting, correct lifting, fire extinguisher stand has missing extinguisher, extinguisher under desk, hoover cables are a trip hazard, worker listening to music on headphones not looking where she is going, caution glass sign is hidden by office plant, guy on cellphone/mobile phone about to step on slip hazard, guy walking into glass panel, female worker in very high heels.

When it comes to office health and safety, one of the most common complaints you will hear relate to the fact that most of the advice and instructions are “just common sense”. This is the thing about health and safety, health and safety should be a natural thing but for too many offices, it seems as though common sense is in short supply at times.

This is why this office health and safety cartoon is the perfect addition to any workspace. A great way to get across the importance of staying safe is to have some fun with it. Clearly an office that has so many so things going wrong at the same time would likely be closed down, or burned down, in a day or two, but all across the United Kingdom, isolated incidents found in this picture are taking place all the time. And while this is a funny cartoon, the opposite of a “Where’s Wally?” illustration because here everyone is acting like a wally, there are some serious points to be taken from it.

Hazards in this cartoon: guy carrying too much down a set of stairs, wet floor sign hidden under stair case, cleaner has left pools of water while mopping, guy not looking where he is going about to trip over filing cabinet drawer, overloaded socket, cleaner with frayed wires on vacuum, incorrect lighting, correct lifting, fire extinguisher stand has missing extinguisher, extinguisher under desk, hoover cables are a trip hazard, worker listening to music on headphones not looking where she is going, caution glass sign is hidden by office plant, guy on cellphone/mobile phone about to step on slip hazard, guy walking into glass panel, female worker in very high heels.
