Shakespeare – some of my favorite quotes!

The course of true love never did run smooth. ~WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE, A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Cowards die many times before their deaths. The valiant never taste of death but once.
WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE, Julius Caesar

Action is eloquence. ~ WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE, Coriolanus

Cartoon of Shakespeare

Neither a borrower nor a lender be; for loan oft loses both itself and friend. ~ WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE, Hamlet

Let every man be master of his time. ~ WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE, Macbeth

I hate ingratitude more in a man
than lying, vainness, babbling, drunkenness,
or any taint of vice whose strong corruption
inhabits our frail blood.
WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

Extract from a book "Smile Your Way To Success'

This is another extract from a book "Smile Your Way To Success’
that I collaborated with Peter Sinclair on…
‘HAPPY PEOPLE use what they have and start where they
are in the pursuit of their DREAM.’

For years I lived my life waiting for the ‘one day’ to kick in.
After nearly ten years, when that ‘one day’ still hadn’t arrived,
I decided that it was probably time to really start to enjoy life.
My children were growing older and my years weren’t being
reversed. So rather than waiting for that illusive day, I decided
to start to live my life to the full. I made a decision to enjoy
every moment, while still focusing on my dream. In an instant,
happiness replaced anger. Fulfillment replaced frustration and
life became a pleasant experience. I analysed my strengths,
discarded my weaknesses and then strengthened my strengths
through practice. And as the song says, ‘Don’t worry, be happy!’

Cartoon Motivational Memo…No.1

Here’s one of a series of 101 cartoons I drew for a book ‘SMILE YOUR WAY TO SUCCESS!’ which I collaborated on with Peter Sinclair of Motivational Memo. I might as well show them on here as they’re just gathering cyber dust on my computer.

Cartoon Motivator of a guy and his dog sat in their car at a road block. 'STOP!' Absolutely no way through. He says "The other side of stop is go!"‘To quit doing that which is good, in order to pursue that which is best, is not quitting at all.’

I can’t find the word ‘quit’ in my ‘success’ dictionary. However, if I discover that something is not working effectively in my life, and after I’m convinced that the roadblock is secure, I’m never afraid to discard it. Then it’s time to swiftly pick up the baton that will carry me on to victory. In this day and age of incredible change we must remain fluid, ever ready to move and ever flexible. Our principles and life goals must remain solidly planted in rock, yet the road we travel on, to fulfil these and reach them, is to be set in sand. Don’t hang on to ‘good’ if ‘best’ is knocking at your door.
