‘It is in the ring where one is bloodied and bruised, but it is also in that same ring where the victor is applauded. I will press on!’
Success was never designed for the frail of heart nor the timid. It is something that most of us will have to fight for with all of our might. And once you’ve got it, you may still need to fight to keep it. Success is not for the weak. It is for the brave. It is for the dreamer. It is for the believer. Success demands blood, sweat and tears, because it knows that success won easily often leads to success easily lost. However, success won through the heat of battle will make your victory sweet and your success appreciated. Do not despise the fight. For from the darkness will arise the light.
What you need to do to start the second half of 2016 fast and focused is…

Take an orange and squeeze every last drop out of it. Your life is just like that succulent fruit and should be treated with the same intensity. Squeeze every last drop out of each day. Don’t let one hour pass you by without saying, ‘Hello hour’. Once a minute is lost you will never see her again. Even a second cannot pass you by without a hint of sadness that our little friend will never reappear in your life. Life is to be lived to the fullest. It is to be enjoyed. It is to be hugged. It is to be kissed. So precious is time that you must never pass a moment without drawing the juice of life from its very being.
I think that nothing is impossible when you want to fulfill a dream.
A lot of people will tell you that you can’t do it, that you don’t have what it takes, but if it is in your heart and you feel it, there is nothing that will stop you. It is like the sun – you can’t block it: it will shine regardless, if that is what you want.
Here’s another motivational cartoon extract from the book ‘Helping You To Smile Your Way To Success!’ written by Peter Sinclair and illustrated with my cartoons….
‘The best mistakes to learn from are the ones others have made.’
Why repeat a mistake when you can sidestep it? Learn this way and you will not be inflicted with the wounds of a life lived by chance. Live your life by plan. For a life that is lived this way will be one that is not bumping along from one accident to the next. You will instead be going from peak to peak, climbing ever higher towards your goals and dreams. Make success your hallmark, because you not only live your life with understanding, but with also a dose of wisdom and common sense. Think and then think some more. Plan and then plan some more. Chart your course with insight and then walk it with boldness. Success is yours. Go get it with all your might and never lose the art of learning from all the circumstances that you face.
When commissioning cartoons… Pick TWO of the three options!
Good+Fast = Expensive Choose this and I’ll postpone every other project on my drawing board, my round of golf or give up my footy match ticket and work day and night to get your job done. It WILL NOT BE CHEAP though!
Good+Cheap = Slow Choose good and cheap and I’ll still do a great job at a discounted price. But you’ll have to be patient while I fit you in after my higher paying clients, updating my web site, going down the gym, my footy matches, rounds of golf and liquid lunches!
Fast+Cheap = Inferior Choose this option at your peril. It will still be delivered on time but it will be inferior, as many corners as possible will be cut. You know the saying ‘You get what you pay for!’ The least favorable option in my opinion!
