Cartoon strip – Knocked down – Get Back Up!

Had this in my In Box this morning, thought it was worth sharing with you.

The Most Natural Thing To Do When You Get Knocked Down Is To Get Up How we respond to failure and mistakes is one of the most important decisions we make every day. Failure doesn’t mean that nothing has been accomplished. There is always the opportunity to learn something. What is in you will always be bigger than whatever is around you.

We all experience failure and make mistakes. In fact, successful people always have more failure in their lives than average people do. You will find that throughout history all great people, at some point in their lives have failed. Only those who do not expect anything are never disappointed. Only those who never try, never fail. Anyone who is currently achieving anything in life is simultaneously risking failure. It is always better to fail in doing something than to excel in doing nothing. A flawed diamond is more valuable than a perfect brick. People who have no failures also have no victories.

The College Of Hard Knocks!

The College Of Hard Knocks!

Everybody gets knocked down, it’s how fast we get up that counts. There is a positive correlation between spiritual maturity and how quickly a person responds to his failures and mistakes. The greater the degree of spiritual maturity, the greater the ability to get back up and go on. The less the spiritual maturity, the longer the individual will continue to hang onto failures. Every person knows someone who, to this day, is still held back by mistakes he made years ago. God never sees any of us as failures; He only sees us as learners.

We have only failed when we do not learn from the experience. The decision is up to us. We can choose to turn a failure into a hitching post, or a guidepost.

Here is the key to being free from the stranglehold of past failures and mistakes: learn the lesson and forget the details. Gain from the experience, but do not roll over and over in your mind the minute details of it. Build on the experience, and get on with your life.

Remember: the call is higher than the fall.

Top Level Tennis Player!?

Here’s a cartoon I’ve just dug out of my archives – I drew it for a friend who’s young son had made it into the top ten UK tennis players under 12’s. But still needed something to lift him up the rankings…

I anticipate my opponents every move... I anticipate the ball with clarity... I anticipate my opponents every manoeuvre...it’s easy for me...My focus and vision of the ball is superb...I play each point as it comes - I’m a point accumulator...I play each point to win...I am a winner...I am a winnnnnnner!!! My cat like reflexes put me in positions to hit outstanding winners...I trust my instincts...I am a very successful tennis player...I’m very confident...I project a body language of confidence...What an exciting player I am...I have a bounce in my step -that springs me to my destination... I move around the court with ease and assurance...I’ve got the POWER in my legs to reach any part of the court in lightening fast speed...I pressurise my opponents into mistakes...I pile on the pressure until they subside and give up!

Cartoon doodle scribe – Napoleon Hills 17 Principles of Personal Achievement!

Napoleon Hill’s work deserves to be illustrated in a cartoon doodle scribe!

For years and years I’ve been referring back to Napoleon Hill’s 17 Principles of Personal Achievement – and I put a lot of my success down to this great man and his work. I was looking for a motivational project to work on in my spare time to practice my cartoon doodle scribing, so thought now that’s a good one to work on.

Remember though, that cartoon doodle videos can be used to illustrate problem solving, products or a presentation. Call Richard to discuss yours on 01246 209034 or email.

It  looks like it will be a long drawn out project though – so here’s what I’ve done so far…

If you would like to commission a cartoon doodle scribe to promote your business or to explain how a product work call Richard on 01246 209034 or email.
