Susan Boyle dreamed a dream!

Have you been watching Britain’s Got Talent?
Susan Boyle, has captured the world’s attention.
In case you’ve missed it, she’s a 47-year-old unemployed charity
worker who lives with her cat in a small village in Scotland.
Susan Boyle is a phenomenal role model for all of us, not just
because of her talent or her courage or her perseverance or her
supportive friends. She is a phenomenal role model for us
because she is us, in all our awkward ordinariness and amazing
extraordinariness.
Some say she’s an overnight success – but she has been practicing her singing since she was 12 years old – so it’s actually overnight is 35 years!

Her YouTube video has received 50,000,000 hits – I’m thinking
of asking her to appear on my web site!!

Susan Boyle had a dream – so can you!

If you can dream it you can achieve it!

If you can dream it you can achieve it!

Building success cartoon!

I did this cartoon years ago – before computers(It’s in watercolour!) for a company in the UK. They produced water meters and I made the word ‘Success’ up of drawings of actual meters. It was the illustrate the point:

“Quality is everyone’s business”
We all contribute to the success of our business.
We all can contribute to making it better.

Recently someone saw this cartoon on my Cartoon Studio web site and asked me to update/redraw it….

Building Success one brick at a time!

Building Success one brick at a time!

Here are a few quotes on ‘building success’….

“Every success is built on the ability to do better than good enough” – Unknown

“I think this team has done a good job, even when we were losing last year, of forgetting about the game before, … This team is really resilient. Right now, we’re just building on success.” – Jay Cutler

Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm. – Winston Churchill

The Power of Imagination By Kate Corbin

“To bring anything into your life, imagine that it’s already there.” – Richard Bach.

Imagination is the process of harnessing and utilizing the creative power of the mind. Imagination resides in the boundless realm of the mind where you can travel anywhere at the speed of thought. When you soar with the wondrous creative powers of your imagination, you possess a first-class ticket to the life of your dreams.

Imagine Your Ideal Life. You are not required to accept your present circumstances. As you summon up the feeling of living your ideal life right here right now, you allow the Energy of your thoughts and feelings to produce the physical manifestation that you desire. When you employ the power of imagination, you are no longer limited by external conditions. You are in charge. If you can imagine it, you can experience it.

As you access the power of your imagination, inspiration will bubble up. As you fill your subconscious with thoughts of what you would like to experience, you can bring anything you desire into your life. Imagination is the language through which you communicate with the Universe. As you develop your body through physical exercise, you can develop your imagination through mental exercise.

Exercise Your Imagination

Exercise Your Imagination

Imagination Exercise. Have a clear vision of your ideal life and energize it with the power of imagination. Imagine how your ideal life looks, feels, sounds, smells, and tastes. Each morning spend a few minutes imagining the way you want your day to play out. Imagine feeling great, moving through your day in a strong, vibrant body, enjoying pleasant interactions with others, doing fulfilling work with clarity and purpose. If you are visually oriented, you will see distinct pictures in your mind. It’s OK if you don’t. Imagining with feeling is all that’s required. As you imagine vividly and with feeling, you are creating the circumstances for all your desires to flow to you quickly and easily.

Let’s say you’re planning a vacation to a place you’ve always dreamed of going. It’s a great idea to spend some time imagining how wonderful this vacation will be. You see yourself strolling in a rose garden on a beautiful spring day with a gentle breeze. You feel the thrill of parasailing over a sparkling turquoise sea. You see yourself resting peacefully in a hammock on the beach in perfect weather. When you use your imagination, you can enjoy the same vacation many times – before you go – while you’re there – and when you’re back at the office.

Be There Now! The Universe does not distinguish between what is actually happening now and what you are imagining or remembering. To the Universe, it’s always the Eternal Now. So, in addition to imagining a fabulous future, you can use your imagination to relive the wonderful times of your life. Relive your triumphs and successes – when you did something you weren’t sure you could do. Who says the great moments have to be once-in-a-lifetime events? You can replay and relive them as often as you like, just as you enjoy repeatedly listening to your favorite music or watching your favorite movies or eating your favorite foods. Relive the joy of the vacation, the promotion, the baby’s first steps in your imagination and you will attract even more good times to cherish.

As you charge your imagination with emotion, your mental picture will attract its physical equivalent. Vividly think about what you want and then SEE it clearly in your imagination. The power of imagination speeds up the process from desire to manifestation. As you experience in your imagination what you wish to experience in your life, you will soon be living the life of your dreams.

What are you willing to imagine?

Why Motivational Posters Aren't Cheesy!

Why Motivational Posters Aren’t Cheesy!
By Harald Anderson

I don’t want to say people are basically negative but…..if there was a camera and it could photograph the pictures in your mind what would it look like? When I asked myself that question it actually made me laugh quite a bit. I like to think of myself as a determined self starter but to be completely honest there are times when I confront a new project and I am scared to death.

One of the principles of success that I learned a long time ago is that either you define the event or the event defines you. This little definition is quite profound and explains why having beautiful posters with inspirational captions can add meaning and value to a companies culture and bottom line.

Inspiration comes in all colors and styles. But the key point is that if there is something that makes people believe more in their own abilities to succeed I say, that is a good thing. There have been numerous times in my life and career when a simple motivational phrase has worked wonders. How about you?

Here are a few quotes from some motivational posters that have helped me a lot:

“The greater the difficulty, the more glory in surmounting it.”

“Climb as high as you can dream.”

“If you are not living on the edge, you are taking too much room.”

Success in business is due to a number of reasons but FOCUS is definitely one important factor. These messages are often enough to make me believe that I can push through whatever obstacle comes up in my path.

How about you? What legacy will you leave behind for others to emulate?

To Motivate or Not to Motivate…that is the QUESTION.

Over the years I have read the biographies of many successful individuals. In so doing, I have discovered that these super achievers view setbacks as a learning opportunity. As I contemplate this basic reality I have learned a few things myself, among them that I can accomplish much more with genuine enthusiasm and a good game plan than with anything else. Also, that it is not persistence that wins but learning from the disappointments.

My company is filled with beautiful images of motivational posters. Not only because we sell them. It is because they work! Motivational posters help to create an environment that is solution oriented. In our company we value solutions and the posters on our walls help reinforce that culture. Any Tom, Dick or Harry can find a problem. The skill and rewards in life arrive when we deliver the solution.

I find this very uplifting. With a little bit of genuine inspiration it is incredible as to what is possible.

When I am inspired… my dreams… become realities!

Be careful what you agree with!

I used to use this one as a positive affirmation that I’d look at everyday and repeat over and over again. I’m never short of ideas!

The Written Word sinks into the subconscious quicker!

One of the simplest, cheapest and most time-saving methods of reprogramming your subconscious mind is to physically write out your goals.

Why? Because your subconscious mind is programmed through Repetition.

Most people don’t benefit much from books because they read and forget. They hardly practice what they’ve learnt, so most of the information stop at the conscious level.

Slowly, easily and surely, the information will sink into your subconscious and you will begin to think, act and achieve
