Brainstorming – Motivational cartoon strip!

Brainstorming and lateral thinking – you have to use them when creating cartoon strips. Here’s a few of my favourite quotes…

Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world! Joel Arthur Barker

The sorcery and charm of imagination, and the power it gives to the individual to transform his world into a new world of order and delight, makes it one of the most treasured of all human capacities. Frank Barron

We have to understand that the world can only be grasped by action, not by contemplation. The hand is more important than the eye… The hand is the cutting edge of the mind.  Jacob Bronowski

No matter how old you get, if you can keep the desire to be creative, you’re keeping the man-child alive.  John Cassavetes

Creative thinking is not a talent, it is a skill that can be learnt. It empowers people by adding strength to their natural abilities which improves teamwork, productivity and where appropriate profits.  Edward de Bono

“Cartoonists”, draws health and safety cartoons that highlight fire hazards!

Over the last 30 years as a freelance cartoonist I’ve produced numerous cartoons to enhance both training and Health and safety messages.

You can purchase the below cartoon from the main site at: health and safety cartoons

Most organisations primarily use the health and safety cartoons as posters, usually updating them on a regular basis. Others use them in their monthly newsletters to employees or email them. This keeps employees informed of any ongoing health and safety issues.

Health and safety cartoons - Care home fire hazards. Fire hazards care home, spot the fire hazards, blocked fire exit, overloaded socket, covered smoke detector, naked flames, patient smoking, toaster about to set fire, fire door wedged open, fire extinguisher covered over out of sight

Here’s a few safety quotes to remind you that you must always be aware of H & S issues…

“Crushed Hands Or Missing Fingers May Affect Your Golf Swing.”

“Do the do’s not the don’ts!”

“Don’t learn safety by accident!”

Health and safety cartoons are available for purchase from my main site – remember if you stop one accident you will have paid for it many times over.

“Cartoonist”, for Seminar and Event Cartooning!

Cartoonist for Seminar and Event Cartooning: A Unique Way to Preserve the Memorable Events How many special events have you attended in your life?

I’ve been to weddings and anniversaries, and birthdays galore. And, how are they often remembered? Mostly with photos and video, right? Well, I’ve always found cartoons to be an effective and simple (and great!) way to preserve a special memory or occasion.

Also, if you went to a seminar or some sort of training session, I can do cartoons that will highlight certain points or aspects of it. The cartoons can be a permanent reminder of the day – whatever the event. I can design cartoons for you, or you can give me specific ideas for original and high impacting ideas.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, it’s been my experience that a cartoon is worth double that. As a cartoonist, I can come to your party/seminar (whatever the event is) and create one-off unique cartoons for you. If it’s a training seminar of some kind, the cartoons can help to accent your main points and ideas.

If party is for someone’s birthday, I can do up a great cartoon to commemorate them (maybe with a touch of humor!). In the case of a wedding or anniversary, I can create a lovely image to help preserve the memories of the day. It’s been my experience, that simple cartoons are very effective for businesses and organizations.

They create a unique and easy way of highlighting certain parts of an event or speech. Plus, I can create as many paper copies as you need. They’re great for daily reminders. Also, by sending your staff electronic copies of the cartoons, they’re a great way to remind people of ideas that were raised or important dates for future engagements. I focus on clean, inspirational and motivational cartoons.

You don’t have to worry that my images might offend someone. They are sure to please everyone attending, as well as make your seminar stand out against all the other ho-hum events your guests may have been to before. After all, think about it, how many events have you gone to where they handed out cartoons?

Some of the cartoons that had been drawn live while the speaker at the workshop was doing their slot. I had to draw really quick to capture the main points.

You want to give your guests something different to make your event stand out and be remembered? Well, with my creative and unique event cartooning, you can do just that.
