Years ago when I first came across the book ‘Think and Grow Rich’ by I used to jot down cartoon ideas in my little black note book. Here’s one I dug out and scanned in. This shows you my first thoughts on a cartoon… 
You’ll see I jotted down the page number for reference. When I finally got to drawing up the proper version I could go back and re-read to spark off ideas and develop the cartoon. Here’s the final version in colour…
Good+Fast = Expensive Choose this and I’ll postpone every other project on my drawing board, my round of golf or give up my footy match ticket and work day and night to get your job done. It WILL NOT BE CHEAP though!
Good+Cheap = Slow Choose good and cheap and I’ll still do a great job at a discounted price. But you’ll have to be patient while I fit you in after my higher paying clients, updating my web site, going down the gym, my footy matches, rounds of golf and liquid lunches!
Fast+Cheap = Inferior Choose this option at your peril. It will still be delivered on time but it will be inferior, as many corners as possible will be cut. You know the saying ‘You get what you pay for!’ The least favorable option in my opinion!

I enjoyed immensely reading your blog and your cartoons today — wonderful stuff! — and I thought that you may be interested to learn that a new edition of Napoleon Hill’s classic book “Think and Grow Rich” has been published.
(I am a lover of cartooning. One of my best friends here in the U. S. is Kate Palmer, who at one time was one of the only female political cartoonists drawing for an American newspaper. Kate lives just up the road from me.)
In any event, the title of the new edition is “Think and Grow Rich!” (subtitled) “The Original Version, Restored and Revised.” I am the editor/annotator of this new 416-page edition, which is really an homage to Dr. Hill. (For several years I was the editor-in-chief of “Think & Grow Rich Newsletter.”)
What I have done is this: to restore Dr. Hill’s book to its original manuscript content (it was first published in 1937, but was abridged in 1960), annotate it with more than 50 pages of endnotes (most of the persons and events he discusses are generally unknown to readers today), index it thoroughly, add an appendix with a wealth of additional information about Dr. Hill and his work, and revise the book in ways to help remove certain “impediments” to reading the book today (language that today would be considered obsolete, sexist or racist). None of these things had previously been done with TGR.
