“To bring anything into your life, imagine that it’s already there.” – Richard Bach.
Imagination is the process of harnessing and utilizing the creative power of the mind. Imagination resides in the boundless realm of the mind where you can travel anywhere at the speed of thought. When you soar with the wondrous creative powers of your imagination, you possess a first-class ticket to the life of your dreams.
Imagine Your Ideal Life. You are not required to accept your present circumstances. As you summon up the feeling of living your ideal life right here right now, you allow the Energy of your thoughts and feelings to produce the physical manifestation that you desire. When you employ the power of imagination, you are no longer limited by external conditions. You are in charge. If you can imagine it, you can experience it.
As you access the power of your imagination, inspiration will bubble up. As you fill your subconscious with thoughts of what you would like to experience, you can bring anything you desire into your life. Imagination is the language through which you communicate with the Universe. As you develop your body through physical exercise, you can develop your imagination through mental exercise.
Exercise Your Imagination
Imagination Exercise. Have a clear vision of your ideal life and energize it with the power of imagination. Imagine how your ideal life looks, feels, sounds, smells, and tastes. Each morning spend a few minutes imagining the way you want your day to play out. Imagine feeling great, moving through your day in a strong, vibrant body, enjoying pleasant interactions with others, doing fulfilling work with clarity and purpose. If you are visually oriented, you will see distinct pictures in your mind. It’s OK if you don’t. Imagining with feeling is all that’s required. As you imagine vividly and with feeling, you are creating the circumstances for all your desires to flow to you quickly and easily.
Let’s say you’re planning a vacation to a place you’ve always dreamed of going. It’s a great idea to spend some time imagining how wonderful this vacation will be. You see yourself strolling in a rose garden on a beautiful spring day with a gentle breeze. You feel the thrill of parasailing over a sparkling turquoise sea. You see yourself resting peacefully in a hammock on the beach in perfect weather. When you use your imagination, you can enjoy the same vacation many times – before you go – while you’re there – and when you’re back at the office.
Be There Now! The Universe does not distinguish between what is actually happening now and what you are imagining or remembering. To the Universe, it’s always the Eternal Now. So, in addition to imagining a fabulous future, you can use your imagination to relive the wonderful times of your life. Relive your triumphs and successes – when you did something you weren’t sure you could do. Who says the great moments have to be once-in-a-lifetime events? You can replay and relive them as often as you like, just as you enjoy repeatedly listening to your favorite music or watching your favorite movies or eating your favorite foods. Relive the joy of the vacation, the promotion, the baby’s first steps in your imagination and you will attract even more good times to cherish.
As you charge your imagination with emotion, your mental picture will attract its physical equivalent. Vividly think about what you want and then SEE it clearly in your imagination. The power of imagination speeds up the process from desire to manifestation. As you experience in your imagination what you wish to experience in your life, you will soon be living the life of your dreams.
What are you willing to imagine?

Attitude is the Key to Life…by John Ahern
Sometimes striving for that balance includes a good laugh and a change in your attitude. Laughing and smiling are great therapeutical tools as well as calming to the body and soul. One of my most practised rituals is to always smile while driving. This is very difficult at times and you may find yourself forcing on that smile.
Try it today and every day for the next couple of weeks and watch your attitude to life and especially driving lift. Then discover the truly wonderful feeling of an automatic smile creeping across all the lines of worry and concern as you sit in the driver’s seat.
Read the following attitude changing message sent to me by a good friend.
As you read the following article think about the way you perceive your own attitude. Enjoy and remember to smile…
David received a parrot for his birthday. This parrot was fully grown with a bad attitude and worse vocabulary. Every other word was an expletive. Those that weren’t expletives were, to say the least, rude.David tried hard to change the bird’s attitude and was constantly saying polite words, playing soft music, anything that came to mind. Nothing worked. He yelled at the bird, the bird got worse.
Finally, in a moment of desperation, David put the parrot in the freezer. For a few moments he heard the bird squawking, kicking, and screaming, and then, suddenly, all was quiet.
David was frightened that he might have actually hurt the bird and quickly opened the freezer door. The parrot calmly stepped out onto David’s extended arm and said, “I’m sorry that I offended you with my language and actions. I ask for your forgiveness. I will try to check my behaviour…”
David was astounded at the bird’s change in attitude and was about to ask what changed him when the parrot continued, “May I ask what the chicken in the freezer did?”
I hope you enjoyed that as much as I did. You can draw several lessons from this article, like: ” I was blue about my shoes, until upon the street, I met a man with no feet.” Attitude is the key. I must take responsibility for my own happiness and become “the master of my fate”.
Just been on Mike Litman’s blog and his latest post really hit the nerve. I drew the first version of the cartoon quite a few years ago and the second one is a slight updated version after reading Mike’s post…
Just too many people at an early age bought into MENTAL JUNK. They accepted limiting, defeating words spoken over them and many have brought that BELIEF into adulthood. Words have IMMENSE power. 25 times more then you can imagine.
Something Very Exciting Is Going To Happen Today!
The words we BELIEVE and say about ourselves set the limits for our lives. They do. You can’t surpass your words. You just can’t. Also, many have voids in their life because words WEREN’T SPOKEN. (You needed to hear something years ago, though it was never spoken.) You have to NOW speak these words into yourself. (I call this -Power Speak-)
Something Great Is Going To Happen To me Today!
“Something great is going to happen to me today.” “I have a winning personality and people are drawn to me.” “I expect people to want to help me reach my goals.”“Making money is simple and easy.” (Too many people buy into the “Money is hard” mindset) All day you should be saying: “You have what it takes.” “Great things are about to happen to me.” Guard your mind. Stop letting defeating words into your life. Words will crush you or lift you’ve higher then you’ve EVER imagined.
Seven Classic Ways to Top Achievement: Napoleon Hill’s Principles
“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve,” said Napoleon Hill, the legendary personal-development expert and author. For most of his life, Hill lived with the conviction that every failure carried with it the seed of equivalent advantage. Here are seven of his principles for extraordinary achievement:
1. Definiteness of Purpose. Definiteness of purpose is the starting point of all achievement. Without a purpose and a plan, people drift aimlessly through life.
Definite purpose!
2. Mastermind Alliance. The Mastermind principle consists of an alliance of two or more minds working in perfect harmony for the attainment of a common definite objective. Success does not come without the cooperation of others.
Mastermind Alliance!
3. Applied Faith. Faith is a state of mind through which your aims, desires, plans and purposes may be translated into their physical or financial equivalents.
4. Pleasing Personality. Personality is the sum of one’s mental, spiritual and physical traits and habits that distinguish one from all others. It is the factor that determines whether one is liked or disliked by others.
5. Personal Initiative. Personal initiative is the power that inspires the completion of that which one begins. It is the power that starts all action. No person is free until he learns to do his own thinking and gains the courage to act on his own.
6. Positive Mental Attitude. Positive mental attitude is the right mental attitude in all circumstances. Success attracts more success, while failure attracts more failure.
7. Enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is faith in action. It is the intense emotion known as burning desire. It comes from within, although it radiates outwardly in the expression of one’s voice and countenance.
I’m a regular reader of Mike Litman’s blog and just had to share his latest post with you. I’ve added a cartoon I drew some time ago…
“You weren’t born to be in this room tonight.”
I said this to the audience of 200 people at a talk I did 2
weeks ago.
There was a few seconds of silence.
Many people starting shaking their heads up and down,
signaling “You’re right.”
“Mike, why did you say this to the audience?”
Good question amigo.
Throughout the night, many individuals were sharing their
stories of financial struggle, being at jobs they couldn’t
stand, and having too many negative people around them.
You, I, WE…we weren’t born to be average.
We weren’t born to strive for mediocrity in life.
Pulled down into Mediocrity - NO WAY!
We weren’t born to spend our lives at jobs we can’t stand.
When I said to the audience, “You weren’t born to be in this
room tonight”, here’s what I was really saying.
You were born for GREATNESS.
You were born to accomplish.
You were born to have fun, be happy, serve others, and be
fulfilled.
You weren’t born to struggle unnecessarily.
Yes, I’m all for improving yourself and going to seminars.
I’ve been working on myself for years.
What I was getting across to them and now to you is this.
Make your move. Now.
I’m on Bob Proctor’s email list and this came in a few days ago – I thought it was worth showing you…
Nearly 100 million George Foreman Grills have sold since 1995 and George Foreman is now one of the most highly paid and recognized celebrity endorsers in the world. But his life is not one of just business success. Foreman is also a community leader, father, husband, world-champion boxer and—best yet—his life has meaning.
Apply Foreman’s philosophies for success in your life:
1. Belief: “You have to have something you believe in. It could be someone you believe in, too. But at least have something you believe in and you cannot be talked out of by dollars and cents.”
2. Integrity: “You must preserve the quality of your name, your integrity. You don’t want to lie about anything. And it’s something that people will be happy about once they get to know you. Because people count on you.”
Sales champion!
3. Sales: “Learn to sell and you’ll never starve.”
4. Resilience: “You’re going to fail if you do enough business. But you can always come back because you’ve got some integrity, and people need that.”
Persistence Pays cartoon strip.
5. Persistence: “It may take a year, it may take three or four years, but you’re going to hit something so you have something to put on the table for your family.”
6. Legacy: “You want to leave something, you really do. I mean, in the end, statues and all those things, they don’t mean anything. Leave something that we’re all going to benefit from.”
When commissioning cartoons… Pick TWO of the three options!
Good+Fast = Expensive Choose this and I’ll postpone every other project on my drawing board, my round of golf or give up my footy match ticket and work day and night to get your job done. It WILL NOT BE CHEAP though!
Good+Cheap = Slow Choose good and cheap and I’ll still do a great job at a discounted price. But you’ll have to be patient while I fit you in after my higher paying clients, updating my web site, going down the gym, my footy matches, rounds of golf and liquid lunches!
Fast+Cheap = Inferior Choose this option at your peril. It will still be delivered on time but it will be inferior, as many corners as possible will be cut. You know the saying ‘You get what you pay for!’ The least favorable option in my opinion!
