Cartoonist for Seminar and Event Cartooning: A Unique Way to Preserve the Memorable Events How many special events have you attended in your life?
I’ve been to weddings and anniversaries, and birthdays galore. And, how are they often remembered? Mostly with photos and video, right? Well, I’ve always found cartoons to be an effective and simple (and great!) way to preserve a special memory or occasion.
Also, if you went to a seminar or some sort of training session, I can do cartoons that will highlight certain points or aspects of it. The cartoons can be a permanent reminder of the day – whatever the event. I can design cartoons for you, or you can give me specific ideas for original and high impacting ideas.
Illustrating-seminar-workshop – photo of event I was drawing cartoons at. You can just see some of the cartoons on the back wall. I took the photo when everyone went on a break.
It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, it’s been my experience that a cartoon is worth double that. As a cartoonist, I can come to your party/seminar (whatever the event is) and create one-off unique cartoons for you. If it’s a training seminar of some kind, the cartoons can help to accent your main points and ideas.
If party is for someone’s birthday, I can do up a great cartoon to commemorate them (maybe with a touch of humor!). In the case of a wedding or anniversary, I can create a lovely image to help preserve the memories of the day. It’s been my experience, that simple cartoons are very effective for businesses and organizations.

They create a unique and easy way of highlighting certain parts of an event or speech. Plus, I can create as many paper copies as you need. They’re great for daily reminders. Also, by sending your staff electronic copies of the cartoons, they’re a great way to remind people of ideas that were raised or important dates for future engagements. I focus on clean, inspirational and motivational cartoons.
You don’t have to worry that my images might offend someone. They are sure to please everyone attending, as well as make your seminar stand out against all the other ho-hum events your guests may have been to before. After all, think about it, how many events have you gone to where they handed out cartoons?
Some of the cartoons that had been drawn live while the speaker at the workshop was doing their slot. I had to draw really quick to capture the main points.
You want to give your guests something different to make your event stand out and be remembered? Well, with my creative and unique event cartooning, you can do just that.
The Seven C’s Of Success By Brian Tracy illustrated by cartoonist Richard D…
After having studied top achievers and peak performers over
the past 35 years, I’ve concluded that these unique men and
women have, in most cases, mastered what I call the Seven
C’s of Success.
1. Clarity – Eighty percent of success comes from being
clear on who you are, what you believe in and what you
don’t.

2. Competence – You can’t climb to the next rung on the
ladder until you are excellent at what you do now.
3. Constraints – Eighty percent of all obstacles to success
come from within. Find out what is constraining you or your
company and deal with it.
4. Concentration – The ability to focus on one thing single-
mindedly and see it through until it’s done takes more
character than anything else.
5. Creativity – Flood your life with ideas from many
sources. Creativity needs to be exercised like a muscle, if
you don’t use it you’ll lose it.
6. Courage – Most in demand and least in supply, courage is
the willingness to do the things you know are right.
7. Continuous learning – Read, at the very least, one book a
week on business to keep you miles ahead of the competition.
And just as you eat and bathe, organize your time so you
spend 30 minutes a day exploring e-mail, sending messages,
going through websites, because like exercise, it’s the only
way you can keep on top of technology. If you get away from
it, you’ll lose your edge.

Cartoon Motivator to illustrate ‘You can’t expect change unless YOU change!
If you want to change your life, there is only one person who can make the difference. YOU! Sorry about that, but the buck stops with you. It’s not the responsibility of the government, your employer, your customers, or your family members. You are solely responsible for the outcome of your own life.
If you want to change your life then you are going to have to make the necessary adjustments required to o so. But first, identify exactly what you want to change. When you have, write it down. Then write down in detail what you are going to do to get there. Set a goal, set a date for its achievement and you more than half way there. Now DO the plan, step by step, always knowing that with each step you take you are one step closer to reaching your desired target.

Here’s a cartoon on getting fit and some quotes to inspire you…
Hard work truly does pay off! .. I started a long time ago in hopes that this day would come, where I could be recognized for my hard work on my abs. Usher
I have lost 10-12 kilos. The reason why I have lost weight is that I looked at the international schedule and thought that I wanted to play for another two years. It is a very hectic schedule and if I want to get through that then I have to be in the best shape that I can. Shane Warne
“Getting fit is all about changing the way you think. You shouldn’t exercise because anyone tells you to, but because you want to do it for yourself.” Peter Cohen
“Make exercise a reward, rather than a punishment. Think about how you feel at the end of a run and use that to motivate yourself.” Peter Cohen
Here are some powerful Excellence Quotations for you to read, use and enjoy. I hope they inspire you as you strive for your goals. I’m sure you will find great value in this collection of quotes on excellence!
If you want to achieve excellence, you can get there today. As of this second, quit doing less-than-excellent work. Thomas J. Watson
Strive for excellence, not perfection. H. Jackson Brown Jr.
Excellence is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well. John W. Gardner
Paint a masterpiece daily. Always autograph your work with excellence. Greg Hickman
Those who attain to any excellence commonly spend life in some single pursuit, for excellence is not often gained upon easier terms. Samuel Jackson
If you are going to achieve excellence in big things, you develop the habit in little matters. Excellence is not an exception, it is a prevailing attitude. Colin Powell
When commissioning cartoons… Pick TWO of the three options!
Good+Fast = Expensive Choose this and I’ll postpone every other project on my drawing board, my round of golf or give up my footy match ticket and work day and night to get your job done. It WILL NOT BE CHEAP though!
Good+Cheap = Slow Choose good and cheap and I’ll still do a great job at a discounted price. But you’ll have to be patient while I fit you in after my higher paying clients, updating my web site, going down the gym, my footy matches, rounds of golf and liquid lunches!
Fast+Cheap = Inferior Choose this option at your peril. It will still be delivered on time but it will be inferior, as many corners as possible will be cut. You know the saying ‘You get what you pay for!’ The least favorable option in my opinion!
